Cabaret on the Runway
A theatrical fashion collection inspired by Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, blending 19th-century silhouettes with distressed textures, bold stripes, and camp storytelling. Centered on the character of Mrs. Lovett, the designs explore themes of desire, decay, and delusion through exaggerated forms, corsetry, and deconstructed tailoring. This project merges costume and high fashion, celebrating the grotesque with humor and heart.
This collection was created for a runway show produced by the Ghostlight Theater Company, where it was presented to a curated medley of songs from Sweeney Todd, blending live performance with theatrical fashion.
